Nose reshaping, or rhinoplasty, also commonly called as a nose job, does not only change your face. It can change your life for the better as well. Cosmetic Makeover can change the tip, bridge, or overall nose profile. We also perform surgeries on people who have difficulty breathing with their nose, either due to its original shape or an injury.

The surgery’s ultimate goal is to change the way your nose looks so the changes may occur in terms of its shape, length, and/or size.

Since the nose is right at the centre of our face, it is often the reason why people feel extremely self-conscious. For some, the nose their genes might have given them may not be of a proportionate size to their facial shape. For others, an injury may have led to the unwanted change in the nose, resulting to flattened or bulging areas.

Many of our patients have confessed about the following things:

  • Boosted confidence and self-esteem with their enhanced appearance
  • A more welcoming attitude towards new hairstyles with the old ones often chosen to hide     undesirable features
  • Getting rid of anything that was often the reason of teasing or bullying

  • Augmented rhinoplasty. This refers to the cosmetic surgery that aims to give the nose an extra     bulk, especially for patients with a flat bridge.
  • Reduction rhinoplasty. This refers to the procedure that aims to get rid of humps and bumps on     the nose, an extra wide tip, or a bump on the bridge. This is often chosen by patients who feel like     their nose is too big given the rest of their facial features or that    their nose looks too hooked.
  • Rhino-tip. This procedure is done to correct nose tips that are too large, misshapen, or bulbous.     Droopy tips are also addressed by this particular nose reshaping procedure.
  • Septo-rhinoplasty. This refers to the surgery done to touch on the septum of the patients,     particularly those with a crooked nose or a deviated septum.
  • Alar base reduction. This is a procedure that is done to correct large nostrils.

Rhinoplasty requires a general anaesthetic for the patients. The procedure takes up to 2 hours and an overnight stay at the hospital. Scarring depends on the kind of surgery done to the nose. For instance, scars are completely hidden with a closed reduction rhinoplasty because our cosmetic surgeons will make the incisions inside the nose.

Rhinoplasty patients have to take a week or two off work to heal completely. Bruising around the treated area is normal. Swelling may occur but it is should go down within a month. The effect of the nose job will eventually surface within a year of the procedure.

Cosmetic Makeover has well-trained and qualified rhinoplasty surgeons that have performed hundreds to thousands of nose reshaping procedures with general success. If you are interested about what can be done to improve your nose and the way you look, just call us for an initial free consultation.
